Printing Tips
- The glossiness of the model printed with Silk material can be adjusted by modifying printing temperature and speed. For shinier finishes, higher printing temperatures and/or slower speeds are recommended.
- Recommended settings: Nozzle temperature: 230 - 240 ℃, Outer wall speed: 30 - 60 mm/s
- Recommended Plate: Cool Plate, High Temperature Plate, or Textured PEI Plate
- Recommended Hotend: Hardened Steel Nozzle (0.4 mm), Stainless Steel Nozzle (0.2 mm, 0.4 mm)
- Drying conditions: 55 ℃ for 8 hrs. Store in a dry environment after use. Dry before use if the material absorbs moisture.
- PLA Silk Dual Color is a new color option in the PLA Silk series. Please use the default PLA Silk settings for printing. For higher printing quality and glossier finishes, reduce the printing speed.
- All printing parameters are embedded in RFID, which can be read through Bambu Lab AMS (Automatic Material System). Load and print! No more tedious setting steps.
