It is a high-quality product! You can buy voltage testers cheaper, but the BT-70EU series are worth the money. - Unique desing, which is better that the ugly, quasi-industry-standard-looking side-by-side-pole-construction ones. - 1000V @ Cat III, and build quality makes me confident it will handle it! - Detachable probes! It is infuriating that most expensive ones (Fluke, the Fluke-owned Beha-Amprobe, etc.) usually forces you to send them to repair or buy a new altogether, because their probes are fixed - Probes have screw-off tip covers so you can unthicken it. By default they fit it the European sockets (maybe not the British ones, but who cares!). - Probes have spring-loaded covers. - The Com probe can be used in EF mode to distinguish Phase lines, which is nice - Continuity testing seems to be latched - Bright LEDs, clear display, continuity sound doesnt give me a headache - Needless to say, even if Fluke would offer something equivalent (They dont have one with the capacitance measurement of BT-75EU), it wouldnt be the same price. And that yellow is, in my opinion, very ugly BTW. I have some gripes, but none of them are deal breakers: - EF button needs to be held down, and it is tiring as button needs quite the pressure. I understand the security reasons behind it (it needs to return to default mode (voltage detect/continuity), and hard buttons prevent accidental presses), but ergonomics wise its not the best. - The com probe could be a little more robust, but time will tell if I am wrong - Vibration is quite slow to kick in in voltage detection, it doesnt have much use this way, but whatever - Continuity is a BIT slow (I presume because its multitasked with voltage-detection), but it wont be as relevant of an issue as it would be in electronics Krisztián S., 24.02.2021
