Beschreibung
The 7706 is a plug-in module designed for diverse measurement and control applications. It features a multiplexer with 20 channels for 2-pole switching or 10 channels for 4-pole switching, complete with automatic cold junction compensation (CJC). Beyond its multiplexing capabilities, the module incorporates two analog output channels and 16 digital outputs. A notable feature is its event counter/totalizer, which enables monitoring and control of various system components while conducting mixed signal measurements. These components may include fixtures, limit switches, pass/fail indicators, external voltage sources, loads, door closures, and revolution counters. With its comprehensive feature set, the 7706 is particularly well-suited for temperature measurement applications using RTDs, thermistors, and thermocouples.
