Bambu Lab PETG Translucent combines the everyday durability of PETG with a modern translucent surface. The material is tougher and more temperature-resistant than standard PLA and is especially suitable for parts where stability and a light-transmitting appearance should come together, such as lampshades, vases, technical covers, light objects and transparent design parts.

Translucent effect with functional PETG

The visible translucent effect strongly depends on wall thickness, layer height, infill, model geometry and lighting. For higher light transmission, thin-walled models, vase-mode prints, reduced infill structures and clean print profiles are especially suitable.

Printing Recommendation

The translucent effect strongly depends on wall thickness, infill, layer height, color, print temperature and lighting. For higher light transmission, thin-walled models, vase-mode prints, reduced infill structures and smooth surfaces are especially suitable. PETG should be stored dry, as moisture can visibly reduce surface quality.
