Bambu Lab PLA Aero is designed for printed parts where low weight is the main priority. Due to its lightweight material characteristics, it is especially suitable for model making, RC aircraft, drone parts, large decorative objects, cosplay elements and prototypes with reduced material weight.

Reduce weight with adjusted print parameters

For optimal results, temperature, flow rate, wall thickness and print speed should be carefully adjusted. Depending on the profile, PLA Aero can be used for particularly lightweight parts with reduced material use and thin-walled structures.

Printing Recommendation

For PLA Aero, print temperature, flow rate and wall thickness should be carefully calibrated. Lower density and reduced weight can affect mechanical strength. For load-bearing or safety-relevant parts, the material should be tested for the specific application beforehand.
