Glow effect directly from the 3D printer

Bambu Lab PLA Glow combines the easy printability of PLA with a special phosphorescent effect. The material absorbs light and releases it in the dark. This creates creative printed parts with a striking visual appearance, perfect for decorations, figures, signs, markings, gift items and models that should remain visible in low-light environments.

PLA Glow prints similarly to classic PLA. The visible glow effect depends on light source, exposure time, wall thickness, color and model geometry. For a stronger glow, printed parts should be charged with daylight or UV light before use.

Printing Recommendation

The glow effect strongly depends on light source, exposure time, color, wall thickness and model geometry. For especially intense results, printed parts should be charged with daylight or UV light before use. Since glow filaments may contain abrasive additives, a wear-resistant nozzle is recommended.
