Natural wood appearance directly from the 3D printer

Bambu Lab PLA Wood combines the easy printability of PLA with fine wood powder for a warm, natural and authentic wood-like appearance. The slightly grainy texture and matte finish give printed models an organic, handcrafted look while helping to conceal visible layer lines. This makes the material ideal for decorative models, design objects, figures, architectural models, gift items and wood accents in multi-color PLA prints.

PLA Wood prints similarly to classic PLA, but due to its wood content it requires a little more attention to moisture, nozzle choice and surface quality. For consistent results, the filament should be stored dry and dried before printing if needed. A 0.4 mm or 0.6 mm nozzle is suitable for most applications.

Printing Recommendation

PLA Wood contains wood particles and is more sensitive to moisture than many standard PLA filaments. For clean surfaces, consistent extrusion and a refined wood-like appearance, the filament should be stored dry and dried before printing if needed. The material is less suitable for very fine nozzles or extremely small details.
