The Alpha Clear Resin from Formlabs is a versatile, transparent 3D printing resin, ideal for aesthetic and functional components. It combines an optically clear, neutral color with fast printing speeds and superior mechanical properties.
This resin can be used to create transparent casings, light prototypes, and molds that are superior in strength and toughness compared to comparable ABS-like resins, providing a surface quality that can compete with acrylic.
The Alpha Resin family utilizes low-odor components, and the post-processing of the parts meets safety requirements for long-term skin contact. Additionally, the Alpha Resins are the first 3D printing materials certified for UL GREENGUARD Gold when printed on the Form Studio 1 and used with a VOC extractor.
Please note that the Alpha Clear Resin is only supported on the Form Studio 1.
