Universal satin print sheet for clean adhesion and easy part removal

The Prusa Satin Powder-coated Print Sheet is a magnetically held, flexible spring steel sheet for everyday 3D printing. Its satin surface sits between a smooth PEI sheet and a strongly textured sheet in terms of printing behavior. This makes it especially useful for users working with PLA, PETG and many other materials who want a universal print sheet with a matte bottom surface and controlled adhesion.

Between smooth and textured

The satin powder coating creates a lightly textured, matte surface. It offers more control than a very smooth sheet in many cases and produces a finer bottom surface than a strongly textured sheet. PLA and PETG in particular can be printed reliably with the right print profile, often without an additional separation layer for many materials.

Typical Applications

The Satin print sheet is suitable as a universal everyday sheet for many Prusa workflows. It is especially useful when a matte bottom finish, good adhesion and easy part removal should be combined. For very large parts, demanding materials or small contact areas, a brim, skirt, clean first layer or suitable separation layer may be required.

Everyday sheet

Care and everyday use

For reliable adhesion, the surface must stay clean and free of grease. Fingerprints, dust or filament residues can noticeably affect adhesion. The sheet should be cleaned cold with IPA. For heavier residue, dish soap can help, but the sheet should be dried thoroughly immediately afterwards. Acetone, metal spatulas and strong mechanical stress on the surface should be avoided.

Across all variants, the Satin surface is designed for universal printability and a matte, lightly textured bottom finish. The key point is selecting the correct sheet size for CORE One, CORE One L, HT90 or XL.

Compatibility and care note

This description is written generally for Prusa Satin Powder-coated Print Sheets. Always select the variant that matches the printer model. When switching between different print sheets, first-layer or Z-offset recalibration may be required. The surface is not scratch-proof and must not be cleaned with acetone.
