Dry, store and print directly from the box

The SUNLU FilaDryer S1 Plus is a compact solution for moisture-sensitive filaments. The dry box heats filament in a controlled way, keeps the spool protected during printing and enables direct material feeding to the 3D printer. This makes the S1 Plus especially useful for PLA, PETG, TPU and other standard filaments that can absorb moisture after opening and cause reduced print quality.

Even heat for more reliable prints

Moist filament can cause stringing, bubbling, popping during extrusion, rough surfaces and unstable feeding. The S1 Plus uses a wrap-around heating structure and a built-in circulation fan to distribute heat more evenly inside the chamber. The display allows convenient monitoring of temperature, time and humidity values.

The FilaDryer S1 Plus not only helps protect filament from ambient air but can also temper opened spools before and during printing. Especially for longer print jobs, older spools or moisture-sensitive materials, dry material feeding can help achieve smoother surfaces, less stringing and more stable results.

LCD display, timer and controlled drying

The S1 Plus features a 2-inch LCD display for important operating values such as temperature, time and humidity. Temperature and drying duration can be adjusted to the material and spool condition. According to SUNLU, the default drying run is 6 hours, while the timer can be manually set from 0 to 24 hours.

PRINT FROM THE BOX

Dry filament and feed it directly to the printer

Inside the box, rollers allow the filament spool to unwind during printing. The filament can therefore be guided directly from the dry box to the printer. This is especially practical when an opened spool should not only be dried before printing but remain in a more protected environment throughout the print.

The SUNLU FilaDryer S1 Plus is a simple and space-saving solution for better controlling opened filament spools, drying them before printing and feeding filament directly from the box during printing.

Note on material drying

The S1 Plus operates in the 35–55 °C range and is therefore especially suitable for many standard filaments. For materials that require significantly higher drying temperatures, check the filament manufacturer’s recommendations and consider a high-temperature filament dryer if needed. Always dry filament only within the allowed temperature limits.
