2 from 5 I²C Modus schwierig

Ich habe mir dieses OLED gekauft weil es sich auch mit I²C-Bus ansteuern lässt.

Auf der Internetseite von waveshare nahezu null Information wie man das Display dafür konfiguriert.
Man muss einen SMD-Widerstand AB-löten und gegen die Lötstopmaske eine Lötverbindung zwischen zwei Lötpunkte hinfummeln.
Zusätzlich muss man den Reset-Eingang des Displays mit dem IO-pin 13 /bei einem Arduino-Uno) verbinden damit der Demo-Code auf dem Display mit I²C-Bus läuft.
Man braucht also insgesamt drei Leitungen.

Ganz merkwürdig ist die Tatsache, dass die Resetleitung empfindlich gegen Störeinflüsse ist. Ich wollte mit dem Digitalmultimeter den Spannungspegel messen aber das zusätzliche Verbinden des DMM stoppte das Display es bliebt dunkel bis ich den Arduino neu gestartet habe.

Was ist denn das für ein Murks?!
