As a PA6/66 copolymer, it is designed to better control typical nylon issues such as warping, cracking and moisture sensitivity. The material is suitable for brackets, jigs, housings, workshop parts, technical prototypes and mechanically durable everyday components. For best results, Easy PA should be stored dry, dried when needed and preferably printed from a dry box.

Nylon for functional parts – easier to process

SUNLU Easy PA, also known as E-PA or Easy Nylon, is an engineering filament for users who want to benefit from nylon strength and toughness while keeping the printing process more manageable. The material is designed to reduce typical PA challenges such as warping, cracking and moisture sensitivity. It is suitable for functional parts, brackets, jigs, housings, workshop parts, technical prototypes and durable everyday components.

Tough, stable and less demanding than classic nylon

Easy PA is especially useful when PLA, PETG or ABS do not offer enough toughness or thermal reserves, while classic PA is too prone to warping or too sensitive to moisture. The material combines good tensile strength, ductility, impact resistance and flowability with a practical print window. For reliable results, it should still be stored dry and dried before demanding prints.

SUNLU Easy PA is designed for print projects where nylon properties are desired but a more practical workflow is needed. It reduces typical issues such as strong warping and cracking while remaining tough, durable and more heat-resistant than many standard filaments. IMPORTANT FOR PA FILAMENTS

Store dry, print dry

Easy PA is easier to process than many classic nylon filaments, but it remains a PA material. Moisture can cause bubbling, stringing, rough surfaces, weaker layer bonding and unstable extrusion. For best results, store the filament dry, dry it at 80–110 °C when needed and ideally print directly from a dry box or filament dryer.

Typical Applications

SUNLU Easy PA is suitable for parts where toughness, impact resistance, heat resistance and functional durability are more important than particularly easy PLA-style processing. For very high stiffness, extreme heat exposure or abrasive requirements, PA-CF, PA12-CF, PC, PC-ABS or other engineering filaments may be more suitable.

For tough nylon parts with easier print behavior

SUNLU Easy PA is especially useful when nylon-style toughness and heat resistance are required, but a more controllable print process is desired. With dry storage, suitable adhesive and tuned print parameters, the filament is suitable for functional and mechanically durable 3D printed parts.

Note on Easy PA

Easy PA is easier to print than many classic PA filaments, but it remains moisture-sensitive. Poor surface quality, bubbles, popping during extrusion or unstable layer bonding often indicate wet filament. For loaded parts, print orientation, layer bonding, infill, part geometry and real operating conditions should be checked separately.
