It is ideal for regular PETG printing, print farms, maker spaces, workshops and users who want to reduce spool waste and store filament more efficiently. The 1.75 mm PETG offers high toughness, good layer bonding as well as water and chemical resistance, making it suitable for housings, brackets, functional parts, accessories, prototypes and robust standard prints. A compatible SUNLU 3rd-generation reusable spool or Bambu Lab reusable spool is required.

PETG refill for robust parts without a disposable spool

SUNLU PETG Refill combines the practical material properties of PETG with a spoolless refill format. The filament is mounted onto a compatible reusable spool and then processed like regular PETG. This makes it especially useful for high-volume users, print farms, maker spaces, workshops, schools and anyone who prints PETG regularly while reducing spool waste.

Tough PETG in a space-saving refill format

PETG is the robust alternative for many standard prints when PLA is too brittle or not water-resistant enough. The refill format reduces empty spools, saves storage space and is ideal when compatible reusable spools are already available. For reliable feeding, the refill must be mounted and secured correctly on the spool.

SUNLU PETG Refill is especially useful when many PETG rolls are consumed and disposable spools should be avoided. After installation on a suitable reusable spool, the material can be used for robust models, brackets, housings, functional parts, accessories, prototypes and recurring standard jobs.

IMPORTANT FOR REFILL

Mount onto the spool first, then release the tie

The refill should not be opened uncontrolled before installation. The securing tie keeps the filament coil together and helps prevent tangling. First place the refill correctly onto a compatible reusable spool and lock it. Then remove the tie and secure the filament end properly. This keeps the winding stable and supports reliable feeding to the printer or AMS system.

PETG NOTE

Watch bed adhesion and moisture

PETG often adheres more strongly to build plates than PLA. Depending on the build surface, a release agent or glue stick can be useful so parts can be removed cleanly. Moist PETG can also cause stringing, bubbling, rough surfaces and unstable extrusion. For reliable results, store the filament dry and dry it before printing when needed.
