Engineering-grade filament made from Nylon 6 and carbon fiber

Bambu Lab PA6-CF combines the mechanical durability of Nylon 6 with the high stiffness and dimensional stability of carbon fiber reinforcement. The material is suitable for demanding functional parts where high temperature resistance, reduced deformation and a professional technical finish are required. PA6-CF is especially suitable for fixtures, brackets, tools, housings, durable prototypes and precise engineering components.

Important: Print very dry and use a hardened nozzle

PA6-CF is a demanding, hygroscopic and abrasive engineering filament. For reliable results, the material should be thoroughly dried before printing, kept dry during printing and processed with a hardened steel nozzle. An enclosed build chamber, glue on the build plate and stable temperatures are especially important for high-quality parts.

Printing Recommendation

PA6-CF is highly moisture-sensitive. Wet material can cause poor surface quality, bubbling, stringing, reduced layer adhesion and lower strength and stiffness. The filament should be thoroughly dried before printing and ideally printed directly from a dry filament box. For thin, long or highly loaded parts, geometry, moisture condition, print orientation, wall thickness and infill should be tested for the specific application.
