Engineering-grade Nylon 6 with glass fiber reinforcement

Bambu Lab PA6-GF combines the high durability of Nylon 6 with the improved dimensional stability of glass fiber reinforcement. The material is designed for technical functional parts where strength, heat resistance, chemical resistance and reduced deformation are important. Its special surface texture creates a smooth, refined appearance and helps reduce visible layer lines.

Important: Print dry and use a wear-resistant nozzle

PA6-GF is a technical, hygroscopic and glass-fiber reinforced filament. For reliable results, the material should be dried before printing, kept as dry as possible during printing and processed with a wear-resistant nozzle. An enclosed build chamber, stable temperatures and suitable glue on the build plate significantly improve print quality.

Printing Recommendation

PA6-GF is an engineering nylon filament and is sensitive to moisture. Wet material can cause poor surface quality, bubbling, stringing and reduced layer adhesion. For clean results, the filament should be dried before printing and ideally printed directly from a dry filament box. For highly loaded or safety-relevant parts, part geometry, print orientation, wall thickness and infill should be tested for the specific application.
