Glass-fiber reinforced ABS filament for stiff, durable and dimensionally stable 3D printed parts – ideal for housings, brackets, fixtures, mechanical components and long-lasting functional parts.

ABS with glass fiber reinforcement

Bambu Lab ABS-GF combines the durability and everyday usability of ABS with the improved stiffness and dimensional stability of glass fiber reinforcement. Compared to standard ABS, the material is less prone to warping, offers better dimensional accuracy and produces a smooth matte surface with reduced layer line visibility. This makes it especially suitable for technical functional parts, mechanical assemblies, housings, brackets, fixtures and long-lasting production aids.

Important: Enclosed chamber and wear-resistant nozzle recommended

ABS-GF is a technical glass-fiber reinforced filament. For reliable results, an enclosed build chamber, heated build plate, suitable glue on the build surface, dry filament and a wear-resistant nozzle are recommended. The glass fiber reinforcement improves dimensional accuracy, but can make the material more abrasive than unreinforced ABS.

Printing Recommendation

ABS-GF is a technical glass-fiber reinforced filament. For clean results, dry material, a wear-resistant nozzle, heated build plate, glue on the build surface and an enclosed build chamber are important. For highly loaded or safety-relevant parts, part geometry, print orientation, wall thickness and infill should be tested for the specific application.
