Bambu Lab PPA-CF is a professional fiber-reinforced high-performance filament for demanding engineering applications. The semi-aromatic nylon, combined with carbon fibers, offers extremely high stiffness, high heat resistance, excellent dimensional stability and reliable performance in humid or high-temperature environments. This makes PPA-CF especially suitable for mechanical prototypes, precise functional parts, automotive components, fixtures and durable low-volume production parts.

Important: High print temperatures, dry processing and clean filament feeding

PPA-CF is a demanding, abrasive and very stiff engineering filament. For reliable results, a hardened steel nozzle, enclosed warm chamber, heated build plate, glue on the build surface and very dry filament are recommended. Due to its high stiffness and brittleness, the filament path should be guided carefully and tight bending radii should be avoided.

Printing Recommendation

PPA-CF is a high-performance material and requires a suitable printing environment. For clean results, keep filament and printed parts dry, use a hardened nozzle, check the feeding path and use a warm enclosed chamber. Optional annealing at 120–140 °C for 6–12 hours can change properties, but should always be tested for the specific application due to possible deformation.
