Flexible TPU optimized for the Bambu Lab AMS workflow

Bambu Lab TPU for AMS was specifically developed for use with AMS and AMS lite. The material combines TPU’s typical flexibility and impact resistance with a stiffer 68D formulation that feeds more reliably through the automatic material system. This makes flexible parts, multi-color TPU prints and practical functional models much easier to produce than with conventional soft TPU.

Important: Dry before printing and keep moisture-free

TPU absorbs moisture and should be dried before printing and kept as dry as possible during printing. Wet TPU can cause stringing, bubbling, poor surface quality and reduced layer adhesion. For reliable results, print from a dry AMS, AMS lite or dry filament box.

Printing Recommendation

The elasticity of a TPU part strongly depends on wall loops, infill density, geometry and print orientation. More wall loops and higher infill density reduce elasticity but increase stability. For flexible functional parts, Shore hardness, wall thickness, infill, moisture condition and load requirements should be tested for the specific application.
