Filament 3D-Printing

Filament 3D printing, commonly known as Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) or Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF), extrudes thermoplastic filaments through a heated nozzle, depositing material layer by layer to build objects. It enables strong, functional parts with varying infill, layer heights, and support structures. Widely used for prototyping, functional components, tooling, and hobbyist models, it supports a broad range of materials including PLA, ABS, PETG, and engineering-grade polymers. Post-processing may include support removal, sanding, and thermal or chemical treatments to improve surface finish and mechanical properties.
