High-temperature-resistant cleaning sponge for Bambu Lab hotends and nozzles – designed to remove filament residue, burnt deposits and dirt during regular maintenance workflows.

A cleaner nozzle for more stable print quality

During 3D printing, filament residue can build up on the nozzle, hotend or silicone sock. Over time, these residues may burn, turn black and affect print quality, first-layer behavior or material flow. The Bambu Lab Nozzle Cleaning Sponge is a practical consumable for regular cleaning of hotend areas.

For cleaning the hotend, nozzle and silicone sock

The sponge is lightly moistened and can be used with a heated nozzle to loosen attached filament residue. Especially with materials such as PETG, TPU or technical filaments, residue can accumulate more quickly around the hotend. Regular cleaning helps keep the nozzle cleaner and reduces the risk of dark deposits on later prints.

USAGE NOTE

Use slightly moistened with a heated nozzle

For cleaning, the sponge is moistened with a small amount of water. The nozzle is heated to a temperature suitable for the loaded filament so that residue softens. The nozzle, silicone sock and surrounding hotend areas can then be cleaned carefully. Always work with heat protection and avoid direct skin contact with hot parts.
