The Original Prusa XL Enclosure is designed specifically for the Original Prusa XL and integrates neatly with the existing printer structure. The enclosure protects the print area from drafts and sudden temperature changes, reduces dust on moving parts and supports more reliable prints with engineering materials that benefit from a warm and controlled environment.

The XL Enclosure creates a more stable environment with elevated temperatures and makes printing materials such as PCCF, Nylon, PP, ASA and other engineering filaments significantly easier. In addition, the integrated filtration system helps reduce odors and the spread of ultrafine particles in the air.

The advanced filtration system of the Original Prusa XL Enclosure helps reduce odors and limit the spread of ultrafine particles in the air. The XL controls filtration automatically and can manage filter power and post-print filtration time directly through the printer menu.

MAGNETIC BELLOWS COVER

Better access and flexible airflow

The special magnetic bellows-style front cover can be opened and folded quickly. This keeps access to the large XL print area convenient without requiring extra space to the sides or in front of the printer for traditional doors. For materials such as PLA, the cover can be opened to improve airflow and prevent the enclosure temperature from rising too high.

Usage note

The Original Prusa XL Enclosure is a passive enclosure and does not include active heating. Heating is provided by the printer heatbed. For materials such as PLA or PETG, increased airflow may be useful to prevent the enclosure temperature from becoming too high. The Original Prusa XL 3D printer is not included.
