The Prusa Nozzle brass CHT is a high-flow brass nozzle for compatible Prusa Nextruder printers. Depending on the selected version, it is available in different nozzle diameters and combines nozzle and heatbreak in one unit. Thanks to CHT Core Heating Technology, the filament is heated more efficiently inside the nozzle, enabling higher material flow and faster print profiles. Ideal for non-abrasive standard materials such as PLA, PETG, ASA, ABS or PC Blend. For abrasive filaments, an abrasion-resistant nozzle should be used.

High-flow nozzle for increased material throughput

The Prusa Nozzle brass CHT is a powerful brass nozzle for compatible Prusa Nextruder printers. With Core Heating Technology, the filament is split into multiple streams inside the nozzle and heated more efficiently. This improves material flow and supports higher print speeds while keeping the convenient Prusa Nozzle form factor.

CHT Core Heating Technology for more consistent flow

Unlike classic standard brass nozzles, the CHT nozzle uses a special internal geometry. The filament is split inside the nozzle, increasing the surface area exposed to heat. This allows the material to melt faster and more evenly – especially useful for fast print profiles, larger parts and applications with high material throughput.

The right diameter for detail, speed and material flow

Choose the nozzle diameter according to model size, desired detail level and print speed. Smaller diameters are better for fine details and precise surfaces. Larger diameters enable higher material throughput, more stable extrusion and shorter print times for larger parts. The CHT geometry supports better material flow than classic standard nozzles.

Brass nozzle with excellent thermal conductivity

Brass is ideal for many non-abrasive standard filaments because it conducts heat very well and supports clean, consistent extrusion. For abrasive filaments such as carbon-fiber, glass-fiber, metal-filled, wood-filled or glow-in-the-dark materials, an abrasion-resistant nozzle such as ObXidian™, hardened steel or DiamondBack should be used instead.

Version selection note

Please choose the nozzle diameter according to the planned material and print profile. After replacing a nozzle, the correct nozzle diameter should be selected in the printer firmware or slicer. For abrasive filaments, an abrasion-resistant nozzle is more suitable than a brass nozzle.
