The Prusa Nozzle brass is a genuine brass nozzle for compatible Prusa Nextruder printers. Depending on the selected version, it is available in different nozzle diameters and combines nozzle and heatbreak in one unit. Thanks to the excellent thermal conductivity of brass, it is ideal for reliable standard printing with non-abrasive filaments such as PLA, PETG, ASA, ABS or PC Blend. For abrasive filaments, an abrasion-resistant nozzle should be used.

The reliable standard nozzle for the Prusa Nextruder

The Prusa Nozzle brass is the classic all-round nozzle for compatible Prusa printers with the Nextruder system. It is ideal for many non-abrasive standard filaments and offers excellent heat transfer thanks to its brass material. The integrated nozzle and heatbreak design makes nozzle replacement easier and provides a clean, all-metal filament path inside the Nextruder.

Precise brass nozzle for everyday 3D printing

Brass nozzles are popular because they conduct heat very well and support consistent extrusion. The Prusa Nozzle brass is therefore a great choice for PLA, PETG, ASA, ABS, PC Blend and many other non-abrasive filaments. For abrasive materials such as carbon-fiber, glass-fiber, wood-filled, metal-filled or glow-in-the-dark filaments, an abrasion-resistant nozzle should be used instead.

The right diameter for detail, speed and material flow

Choose the nozzle diameter according to model size, desired detail level and planned print speed. Smaller nozzles are better suited for fine details, thinner lines and precise surfaces. Larger nozzles enable higher material throughput, more robust extrusion and shorter print times for larger parts. The exact size is selected via the corresponding product variant.

FOR NON-ABRASIVE MATERIALS

Excellent heat transfer for clean standard prints

The Prusa Nozzle brass is ideal for non-abrasive filaments where reliable extrusion, good surface quality and easy handling are the main priorities. For heavily filled or abrasive materials, a wear-resistant nozzle such as ObXidian™, hardened steel or DiamondBack should be used, as abrasive particles can wear brass nozzles significantly faster.

Version selection note

Please choose the nozzle diameter according to the planned material and print profile. After replacing a nozzle, the correct nozzle diameter should be selected in the printer firmware or slicer. For abrasive filaments, an abrasion-resistant nozzle is more suitable than a brass nozzle.
