Jodell Cobot Gripper EPG40-050 for Fairino
The Jodell EPG40-050 is a compact electric two-finger parallel gripper designed for precision automation and seamless integration with Fairino collaborative robots. Its ultra-slim profile allows installation in confined workspaces, making it an excellent choice for pick-and-place, assembly, laboratory automation, and inspection applications.
The gripper features an adjustable 40 mm stroke and an adjustable gripping force of 2–50 N per finger, allowing it to handle delicate as well as larger components with high precision. Its ±0.02 mm repeatability ensures accurate and consistent positioning throughout demanding automation processes.
A key advantage of the EPG series is its mechanical self-locking mechanism, which securely holds the workpiece even during power loss. In addition, the gripper supports object detection with grip status feedback and drop detection, improving process reliability and operational safety.
Communication is provided via Modbus RTU (RS485) as standard, while digital I/O is available as an optional interface for flexible integration into robotic and PLC-controlled automation systems.
With a low operating noise level below 40 dB, a lightweight design of only 0.36 kg, and an optional IP65 protection rating, the EPG40-050 is suitable for both standard industrial environments and more demanding production applications.
