LIPSedge™ T225 – Compact FPGA-accelerated ToF 3D Camera
The LIPSedge™ T225 is a compact ToF 3D depth camera for precise detection of people, objects, and environments. Utilizing Time-of-Flight technology and integrated FPGA acceleration, the T225 provides stable and responsive depth data for industrial and real-world applications.
With a depth resolution of 640 × 480 pixels at up to 60 fps, a Z-accuracy of ≤1 %, and a maximum working distance of over 6 m, the LIPSedge™ T225 is suitable for applications requiring reliable spatial capture and fast processing of 3D data.
ToF Technology for Precise Depth Data
The LIPSedge™ T225 employs Time-of-Flight (ToF) to determine distances based on the phase shift of reflected infrared light. This enables the camera to create accurate depth maps and consistent 3D data for spatial analysis of people, objects, and environments.
Integrated FPGA Acceleration
A powerful on-board FPGA efficiently processes depth data directly on the camera. This allows for rapid availability of 3D data and reduces the burden on downstream systems.
Reliable Capture in Real-World Environments
The T225 is designed for stable operation under varying environmental conditions. The active infrared illumination enables reliable depth capture regardless of visible lighting, thus supporting applications in various indoor scenarios.
940 nm VCSEL Infrared Illumination
The camera utilizes 940 nm infrared illumination with VCSEL technology (Vertical-Cavity Surface-Emitting Laser). The invisible infrared light facilitates active depth capture and enables precise spatial detection without visible illumination of the scene.
High-Resolution 3D Depth Maps
With 640 × 480 pixels at 60 fps, the LIPSedge™ T225 produces detailed and fast depth maps. The field of view of 85.1° × 69° allows for the capture of a large spatial area.
Compact and Flexibly Integrable
With dimensions of only 81.9 × 35.7 × 23.0 mm and a weight of just 95 g, the T225 is suitable for compact systems and space-critical applications. The camera connects via USB Type-C and supports Windows, Linux, and Jetson Linux.
