SIGLENT's SDS5000L series high-resolution digital storage oscilloscopes is with 8 analog channels, and bandwidth options of 350 MHz, 500 MHz, and 1 GHz. Both series feature 12-bit ADCs, a sampling rate of up to 5 GSa/s, and a maximum record length of 2.5 Gpts per channel.
These oscilloscopes utilize SIGLENT's SPO (Super Phosphor Oscilloscope) technology, offering a maximum waveform capture rate of up to 160,000 wfm/s. Additional display features include 256-level intensity grading and color temperature mode. They are equipped with an advanced digital trigger system, providing high sensitivity and low jitter, and support a wide range of triggering modes, including serial bus triggering.
To enhance analysis capabilities, tools such as History waveform recording, Search and Navigate, Mask Test, Bode Plot, and Power Analysis are included, allowing for comprehensive data capture and evaluation. A broad set of measurement and math functions, as well as serial decoding, further extends the instruments' utility.
The SDS5000L, a low-profile variant, omits the integrated display and digital channels. When used with the optional 64-channel synchronization distributor (SYN64), multiple SDS5000L units can be configured into a high-speed acquisition system with up to 512 synchronized channels. Alternatively, it can function as a standalone oscilloscope when connected to an external display and mouse.
The series supports remote web-based control over LAN. A comprehensive SCPI command set is available via the standard 1000M LAN interface, enabling high-speed data acquisition for automated testing applications.
