SUNLU PETG is a tough, water-resistant and versatile PETG filament for functional 3D printed parts, robust models, housings, brackets, accessories and technical everyday applications. It combines practical printability with higher toughness than PLA, good layer adhesion and water and chemical resistance. With 1.75 ±0.02 mm diameter tolerance, 240–260 °C nozzle temperature and 60–70 °C bed temperature, it is suitable for many common FDM/FFF 3D printers. SUNLU PETG is a versatile filament for printed parts that should be tougher, more water-resistant and more durable than many standard PLA prints. It is suitable for functional components, housings, brackets, jigs, accessories, models, prototypes and parts that require more everyday mechanical reserve and better moisture resistance.

The robust alternative for many standard prints

PETG combines practical printability with high toughness, strong layer bonding and good resistance to water and many everyday chemicals. SUNLU PETG is therefore a good choice for parts where PLA would be too brittle or not resistant enough to heat and moisture, while ABS would be too demanding or too prone to warping.

IMPORTANT FOR PETG

Watch bed adhesion and moisture

PETG often adheres more strongly to build plates than PLA. Depending on the build surface, a release agent or glue stick can be useful so the part can be removed cleanly. Moist PETG can also cause stringing, bubbles, unstable extrusion and rough surfaces. For reliable results, store the filament dry and dry it before printing when moisture-related issues become visible.

SUNLU PETG is especially useful when an everyday filament with more toughness, better moisture resistance and stronger layer bonding than PLA is needed. It fits regular FDM printing tasks, functional prototypes, workshop parts and stable models.
