Carbon-fiber reinforced ASA filament for stiff, dimensionally stable and weather-resistant 3D printed parts – ideal for outdoor parts, housings, brackets, protective covers and technical applications.

ASA durability with carbon fiber reinforcement

Bambu Lab ASA-CF combines the UV and weather resistance of ASA with the increased stiffness and dimensional stability of carbon fiber reinforcement. The material is designed for demanding outdoor applications, large models and precise functional parts where durability, dimensional stability and a refined matte surface are required.

Important: Enclosed chamber and hardened nozzle recommended

ASA-CF is a technical and abrasive filament. For reliable results, an enclosed build chamber, heated build plate, stable temperatures, dry filament and a hardened steel nozzle are recommended. The carbon fiber content helps reduce warping while creating a matte technical surface with less visible layer lines.

Printing Recommendation

ASA-CF is a demanding engineering filament. For clean results, dry material, a wear-resistant nozzle, heated build plate, glue on the build surface and an enclosed build chamber are important. For highly loaded or safety-relevant parts, part geometry, print orientation, wall thickness and infill should be tested for the specific application.
