Bambu Lab TPU 90A

Flexible TPU filament with Shore hardness 90A for durable, bendable and wear-resistant 3D printed parts – ideal for shoe soles, RC tires, dampers, protective elements, soft support structures and functional flexible components.

Flexible TPU with increased structural integrity

Bambu Lab TPU 90A combines high flexibility with better shape stability than softer TPU variants. The material is suitable for parts that need to bend, absorb impact or dampen vibration while still offering more structural integrity. Thanks to its high wear resistance, TPU 90A is ideal for moving parts, padding, tires, flexible functional components and durable protective parts.

Important: Print dry and use suitable TPU feeding

TPU 90A is flexible and moisture-sensitive. For clean results, dry the filament before printing, keep it as dry as possible during printing and feed it through a suitable TPU setup or dry filament box. Standard AMS, AMS lite and AMS 2 Pro are not suitable for TPU 90A; when using AMS HT, follow Bambu Lab’s dedicated TPU feeding instructions.

Printing Recommendation

The elasticity of a TPU part strongly depends on wall loops, infill density, part geometry and print orientation. More wall loops and higher infill density reduce elasticity but increase stability. For flexible functional parts, Shore hardness, wall thickness, infill, moisture condition and load requirements should be tested for the specific application.
